Biographical Text

Glen Lewis Miller graduated from the University of Kansas in 1884. Upon graduating, he worked with the A., T., and S. F. and the Burlington railroads before going abroad as part of a syndicate of American newspapers. Miller moved to Salt Lake City around 1889 and continued his work as a journalist. While Miller wrote primarily about Utah politics, he was also a drama critic. In addition to journalism, Miller owned mining and ranching property. As a senator, Miller was chairman of Labor, Land Titles, and Railroads committees.
